The tool accepts MP4, WebM, and common MOV files. Actual decoding depends on the codec inside the file, so some HEVC, unusual MOV, or damaged videos may not open.
Can I convert video to animated WebP or APNG?
Yes. Choose Animated WebP for a compact modern animation or APNG for full-color lossless frames and transparency. APNG output is often much larger.
Can I convert an animated WebP to GIF or APNG?
Yes when the browser exposes animated WebP frame decoding. The converter checks that capability directly and shows a clear message when it is unavailable.
Why are video length, frame rate, and size limited?
Browser conversion holds codec memory, decoded frames, and output data on your device. The limits reduce the chance of a frozen tab or an out-of-memory crash.
Does the animation include audio?
