Frequently Asked Questions
Does this tool create an officially approved passport photo?
No. It prepares a photo at the size you select and makes a print sheet, but it cannot check every government or receiving-authority rule and does not guarantee acceptance.
Does ToolkitFree upload my photo?
No. In original-photo mode, the photo is cropped, scaled, arranged, and exported in your browser. ToolkitFree does not receive the image file.
Does the tool change my face or background?
No. This version only lets you manually position and crop the original image, then export it at a selected size. It does not use face detection, background replacement, or beauty filters.
What photo sizes are included?
You can enter any width and height in pixels, millimetres, or inches. The available US and UK entries are size references with source links and warnings, not compliance guarantees.
What is on the print sheet?
The print sheet repeats the prepared photo on a 4 by 6 inch or A4 PNG with optional dashed cut lines. Use matching paper and disable unexpected printer scaling when printing.
Can I use the Canada passport requirements here?
No. Canada has requirements that include a commercial photographer and restrictions on cropping and software changes. ToolkitFree does not offer a Canada compliance preset.
